Are you a passionate school leaver with a strong interest in trailers and special vehicles? As a Service Mechanic at TRIDEC, you will work on a wide range of trailers and trucks, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of our systems in the field.
What does the job involve?
As a Service Mechanic, you are responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work on various trailers and trucks. You work both in our workshop in Son and on-site at customer locations, ensuring that all systems function optimally.
Your daily work includes mechanical, hydraulic and engine-related maintenance, as well as diagnosing and solving technical issues. You approach your work in a practical and solution-oriented way, while always keeping the customer’s needs in mind.
You will be part of a team where learning and development are encouraged, giving you the opportunity to grow your technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
What do we ask for?
- Technical affinity or education, preferably in automotive or similar field
- Experience as a trailer or service mechanic is a plus
- Strong technical insight, especially in mechanics and hydraulics
- Knowledge of trailer electrics and construction is a plus
- Good command of Dutch and English, German is an advantage
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Practical, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Flexible mindset, no strict 9-to-5 mentality
- In possession of a valid driving license B
